They prioritized flashy effects and abandoned the heart and soul of the story. The oppitimy of told story not shown. They spoonfed plot point more than the cartoon made for children. There is no nuance and no reason to care about characters or their relationships. It's a cash grab trying to capitalize on nostalgia. With a budget of 120 million dollars, you'd think they'd care more. Truly disappointing. Do better or leave it alone
