Simply put, watch it. I personally love the movie. Great action, characters you actually like. Good tension and great pay offs (explosions). Of course it's not all that. As a longish movie for the action/scifi genre it runs smoothly, not dwelling to much on the drama, but just enough. You want action then watch this one. And yes obviously cgi is present, but it's very good, and a lot of practical effects used to major effect (seriously awesome). The whole movie reminds me of what movies could be, Exciting and fun.
