It just feels like a lackluster continuation of the last few lackluster seasons unfortunately. I think Zach Gilford is a good actor but i'm just not convinced by him in this. Honestly, none of the cast is really convincing me, which isn't really the actors' faults. It's definitely more the thrown-together writing. Reid was really the draw for this show too, but even he got boring in the later seasons when they ironed out all of his quirks and made him just as un-standout-y and normal as the rest of the cast. Also, please give JJ a storyline that doesn't have to do with her kids or husband ffs.

That was trash. I loathe when movies make an older woman a literal villain driven “crazy” by her grief over her loss of youth and beauty. Like f yeah it sucks that society only values us for our looks and what we can do for men. Why should we be turned into literal villains in movies for knowing that and being pissed about it? Also that lazily written conversation where they talk about how sex and romance are different? Been there, done that conversation about a million times in other movies. The whole thing would have been way more nuanced if a woman had directed it.
