Loved the series. It's like the magical world of the books come to life. If you haven't read all the books in the series I would recommend to watch the season after you finish the series cause there are spoilers as it's not specifically based on the first book. I loved the characters of Kaz, Jesper and Inej so much that now I am motivated to read Six of Crows with these amazing characters in mind. Shadow and Bone is a must watch and it will translate what you imagined while reading the books into reality. Waiting anxiously for a second season to see how they portray Nikolai.

I wish I had read these reviews before ruining my experience of the original Gilmore Girls. The way Loralai behaved was so annoying and it made no sense for a woman her age to act that immaturly.. especially when she was to tell an anecdote about her father on his funeral. Speaking of Rory.. we all were shown her bright future prospects in the last season but here she was portrayed like a university drop out with no job, no apartment and no real friends. And what was the deal with Luke and Loralai's wedding and the Life and Death brigade? The whole town was seemingly empty. All in all it was a 4 episode long disappointment. Had to fast forward through lots of parts to avoid the cringness. My two cents: don't watch this or risk tarnishing the image of the Gilmore Girls actual season.
