If you're a casual or looking to kill time sure check it out. It's ok I guess.
If you are a die hard or purist then hard pass because the drama/action ain't here. What it attempts is rather lackluster and what it tries to change in our typical formula actually makes the movie worse.
Bit of a backstory, I was recommended this to scratch an itch for a zombie movie from the perspective of a news team or similar that documented the progression of the infection and while this did attempt it stopped early on forgot then came back to that concept since it was mostly just a bunch of banter between the radio crew and watching them sit around in the dark observing a localized event of Infected for the whole time, that's right infected they ain't zombies.
Overall I found it pretty boring and the concept of transmission stupid. The atmosphere was pretty tame your typical trapped and surrounded by them kind of feel but really annoying and almost even comical at times. So while the movie was tolerable and there was some decent parts here and there it didn't keep me invested and I grew less interested in the final parts where it just became sort of dire, rushed and even more rushed. In the end it left me neither hating or loving the film but rather asking myself what else is on and craving something not better but palatable. This movie does not deserve the praise it gets. Everything it does has been touched on by others in segments and done better its just that it tried to mash them up and well it turned into a long winded mess.
