The film has an achievement in set decoration. It probably uses CGI. It also depicts the horrors of war in a way reminiscent of Saving Private Ryan.
Other than that its story is unreliable, the plot doesn't make sense in too many ways and respects, its one-shot gimmick is not only tiring but also creates an unpleasant impression of a computer-game. Some scenes look like taken from cartoon or superhero genres. The scene with the woman and infant seems coerced, and the entire ruined and burning village scene is bizarre. The soundtrack is poor and doesn't serve the movie well.
Overall, it is difficult to say that the movie is a miss since it is unclear what its target was, at all. A Gamers' version of a WWI movie?
