I don’t know anything about the legal system in Belgium, but it is certainly different. To begin with, none of the potential jurors were questioned. It appeared they were accepted or rejected on looks. The woman whose parents had been murdered would never in a million years have been allowed on a murder trial. Or to be constantly on her cell. Also, the photographer who had made up his mind the plaintiff was guilty would surely have been weeded out. And, the defense would have asked for a mistrial as soon as the press leak happened. Questioning is also weird. The judge follows a line of questioning about the plaintiffs childhood that would be deemed irrelevant in other settings.
Despite the craziness, I continue to watch, so give it a 3.
