The story started out interesting enough and that lasted for about 15 minutes and for the next 2 plus hours we watched a kid drink and do drugs and for the last 15 minutes the movie slowly picks up for an underwhelming finish. I went in just thinking that the trailer was ok and that the movie might be better and I was so wrong. The script was subpar along with the acting. If you are in the mood for a two and half hour movie see IT chapter 2. If you want to sneak out and grab a two and hour nap, see The Goldfinch. Save your money and pass on this one.
