I think this gives a very different view than any other movie that deals with Vietnam. It is engaging and warm to see the life long friendships among men. The need to bring their fallen friend home to the USA is very loyal and intriguing. I have always enjoyed Spike Lee and his vision on characters and their substance in the main story.

I find the movie not interesting, the story is stupid. There had to be a better story line than what this was telling us. Monatonal in the telling... puts me to sleep. Shocked by the ability to do that with the ensemble that is in this film. It just did not hit the mark. At all.
