The movie was a good adventure film, but the exciting escape to Greenland was not at all do-able. Quite impossible! They were in a Twin Otter, not a jet. They supposedly had 6 hours to make it. But a Twin Otter would take 12 hours to fly the 2254 miles from Osgoode to Thule, plus stop twice for fuel. I've flown in a lot of Twin Otters off strip in the Arctic, and I liked their crash landing! An Otter could have done it with almost everybody surviving. The pilots did not have to die as Otters can land very slowly but I guess element added so drama. I'll wondering if it really was Thule? The farmers fields shown just before crashing were not anywhere near Thule, but the remaining scenes were similar to Greenland although too green for northern Greeland ... All that to say I enjoyed the film... movies are for entertainment, not accurate geography and aviation instruction!
