A very warm and funny comedy. Each and every character grabs your attention and your heart strings. Some pull right and some pull left but the tugging never stops. Appa is a caring, funny and interesting personality. He is the driving force of the main story line which constantly keeps you entertained and thinking. Umma is a great supporting character which with her quirks and Korean wholesome personality keeps you intrigued throughout the series. Janet's character takes the least turns and remains the same throughout but you are constantly rooting for her success in both love and her just developing life. Jung is a great character that touches all facets of the series, from car rental office, to convenience store and to the long lasting friendship he has with Kimchee. I'm glad he ended mending his relationship with Appa. Unfortunately you could see that he and Shannon were not meant to be as they lived two completely separate lifestyles. Shannon was a caring, loving and upbeat boss that always seemed to be seeking love and friendship from her boyfriends and employees. Can't wait to see if the spin off works out for both the character and Nicole. Kimchee was a great buddy character for both Jung and Shannon. He played a very important role as he was the glue in many relationships. His "father and son" relationship with Appa was also very sweet. Great casting of all the main characters and supporting actors. Too bad it ended too soon but it had a very touching end with not a lot of fireworks which honestly would have taken away from the wholesome nature of the show. Great job all around.
