Just started Season 1, and while I thought the lead felt a little Mary Sue-ish, all the other characters added interest and the historical flavor is spot on. Curious to see how the creator spins these classic "paranormals" into something fresh because I think they can do it. Will con't to watch!

Tudyk is BRILLIANT. I got all "uncanny valleyed" watching his depiction of the alien and I loved it. The townies were great, the dilemmas kept me grinning and delightedly cringing by turns, and I can't wait for the next episode!

Gorgeous Texan vistas, thoroughly watchable cast, and brave of them to touch on troubling contemporary issues. (The original show glaringly shows its age.) I thought the pilot suffered a little from being, you know, A PILOT, but the series is quickly finding its feet. Family dramas generally aren't my thing but I was curious as to what Padalecki was going to do with the franchise, and I already care about the Walker clan (especially younger son, August). There's clear chemistry between the actors and I look forward to the peeling back of the character and plot layers. Good stuff in the making!
