The honesty of the Hearst's of the characters, make the story line. Being an Being a Christian African-American who knows a lot of American History and is very aware of the Hispanic Culture, I found this show to be Amazing. The conflict between the faith if the characters were as honest as one can be. Miguel de Miguel must love playing bad guys. He was excellent as a lawyer in La Reina del Sur. This show showed the slavery of all of the people groups, beyond the most obvious, that of the Africans that is what is most compelling about the show. Hope there is a 2nd season, not necessarily 62 episodes, but don't leave us hanging.
