It has been rare for me to find a movie that keeps me completely engaged. Not for lack of attention span, but the lack of depth in many stories. It is quite the opposite with Tulsa! This movie portrays a very real story in today's society. Kiddos going through 'the system', absent parents and role models, addiction, non-traditional family, faith and healing. It is full circle. It's EVERYTHING! Tulsa is a much needed story at this time in our world and I am so grateful I saw the trailer and decided to watch. If you are looking for a captivating movie with depth and a surprising ending, this is it! It seems we have become so desensitized by television and movies as well as just screen time in general, emotion, tears and laughter often times don't resonate. Tulsa has all the feels and stands apart from the everyday story line and video. I'm so glad this story (inspired by a true story) was written and shared so beautifully! Enjoy!
