I saw the cast and science theme and was excited for a new show for my kids. Sadly the writers decided we needed one more show where the main black male character is a dumb jock stereotype and a bully. Same as with The Inbestigators on Netflix. It’s disappointing and indicative of the bias in our culture. Netflix sells this idea of diverse content while producing the same old racist stereotypes.

I am on episode 5. I’ve liked the show so far. My only complaint is that the English subtitles don’t match the English words being said. I realize it’s translated from another language but if you are going to take the time to lay in another language over it make the subtitles match. It makes the show feel low budget.

Writers you can do better. Frustrated by the stereotypes especially the writing for the boy Kyle, the only black main character. He is portrayed as dumb, lazy, and never has good ideas. In addition there is some rude snobby behavior written into the show. Great concept, sad use of stereotypes.
