Meghna Thakur – Google

It was hard to sit through this film. Pankaj Tripathi is the only saving grace. The story primarily revolves around Chucha. Even though I’ve seen the previous parts and am familiar with this character and its quirks, I found it hard to tolerate him. He’s downright irritating. The jokes are sick - full of toilet humour, which is almost disgusting, especially if you happen to be eating or drinking while watching the film. The makers could have given this film a pass. I know I should have.

It is a very simple read. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed. I expected the book to tap in more areas of my mind and thinking. Unfortunately, while the story's plot was quite interesting, the narration is unable to keep up. You are not able to identify with the characters. You cannot feel their pain or emotions. Everything just stays on the surface. It does not penetrate. May be I look for a bit too much in a book :). But this would be suitable for a teen or someone just beginning to read. An avid reader will be disappointed.
