2 hours of flashbacks (all of which interesting). A couple of moments of real joy - as you saw old friends for the first time in 14+ years ...
There was enough sparks of material in 2 hours that could have filled a season on the small screen.
However on the big screen, short format, it was a real muddle on half baked half started stories without a strong central storyline.
Maybe Chase should stick to cooking the 9 course taster menu ... and avoid trying to make fast food?
