I have worked with the Hmong refugees since 1989 and feel that this is the closest glimpse into their beautiful culture. AND of course the curmudgeon, Walt (Clint Eastwood) depicts a heart and character of gold. Watch until the very end. Thank you!

A series of well-formed but disconnected character studies forced into a road trip "plot?" The abandoned grammar confuses and stops the reader. I gave up after page 477. And the switching points of view are exhausting....
