I like last years game better. Pitching controls were better; I was able to use the corners better with more control. Now, with one person on base; it seems more faster than last year. Which is dumb. Batting is better.

It feels better than last years game; which, I thought was a step forward. Then, again; I was going off of 2k20. LoL. Anyways, 2k23 is entertaining and worth it in my opinion. MyRise is pointless in my opinion. Universe mode still feels stale and broken (I just get notebook and pen and write out the shows and then the outcome of the match AFTER it's over). I don't care for MyFaction or MyGM.

I'm enjoying it! After beating the game and then the River raids. I didn't come back to it; until I decided to buy the Season pass. I'm not regretting it at all. Wraith of the Druids is fun and has me intrigued for more. I can't wait for, The Siege of Paris to come out!

The defense sucks in this game. Throwing to a base (you have to HOLD) the button of choice. If, you don't it does a stupid pump fake. Feels like Madden controls. The other part of defense is that the players move slower than before to get a routine out. More so, the catcher when it's a bunt or a weak hit in front of the catcher and pitcher; both move slower to go after the f'n ball. Another thing that sucks about this game is the pitching rewards: When you get the good placement and perfect release the chances for that pitch to be a ball is more than if, it's not a perfect release. These are just small tweaks that can make the game better. It's still not a terrible game. It's also not a great game either. It's a frustrating game! However, if what I mentioned gets fixed; I would put this game as 4-5 stars. Until then; 2 stars it is.

As someone who's a fan of the movies. This, was fantastic!
