Bryan Vargo

One of my personal favorite RPG games at this point. Atelier Ryza was my first entry into the series and I was hooked right away. I love the laid back atmosphere, the focus on friendship and just enjoying each others company. The game play loop is satisfying and the crafting is enjoyable too. I had a couple nitpicks about the first game, all of which have been resolved in the second title. They really tweaked and expanded so many different facets of the game and improved it in nearly every way. It was a joy to reunite with my friends and go on adventurers together. That's really the main key on this title is just enjoying the feeling of adventure with your buddies. The crafting is even better this time around and I was glad they removed the alchemy level as I kept having to grind at various points in the first game, which was never an issue with Ryza 2. The world in this game is so enjoyable. The capital is lovely and has such a great design to it you will love just running around and taking in the sights. The Atelier is even better and more customizable this time around as well. I genuinely can't wait to start the 3rd entry in the series and see where this goes. From there I'll be playing some of the other Atelier titles. GUST really has me hooked at this point. Highly recommended.
