Milky Tea

I love Jordan Peel and his movies “Us” and “Get Out” so naturally I had high expectations. I see what he was maybe trying to get across in the movie but there were certain things that didn’t make sense to me. For example, I loved the side story with the monkey and how gory and creepy it was and I thought that it was going to somehow tie in with the main story.. but nope, it did not. They killed off the lone survivor of the monkey incident (basically the character never really even became a part of the main story) and it never even connected at the end. Also, the part where the Antlers basically killed himself after getting the alien on tape (which was his main goal already) didn’t make any sense at all. I don’t understand why he would let himself get eaten like that, and for what?? He got eaten along with the video that he just recorded of proof of the alien🤦🏼‍♀️ Anyways, the characters had some funny lines, the gore factor was in point, and the movie started off soo good and very intriguing. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t good either.
