Lots of hype for this movie . Great scenery. No music, whatsoever. The "greatest kill of all slasher films blah blah blah" is just an exercise in creative gore, nothing more. I really wanted to like this film. **there's a reason that classic slasher films work, they had a formula** Marketing department says: ....but that, makes it formulaic! which means we need to reinvent and make it artsy and minimalist and culturally tongue- in -cheek relevant without any meaningful reason to connect or root for any character! If you're a curious horror fan, see it, but don't expect any sort of revolution in the genre
