I have mixed feelings about this one. This anime makes you anticipate so much but the ending makes almost not worth it. The story is pretty good. The atmosphere is very thrilling. I love the dystopian world setting quite similar in a way to AOT. What’s special the most about it is that’s it’s packed with awesome female characters that aren’t sexualized constantly. But It has probably the worst and most cringe ending ever it almost erases every good side about it. Raki’s dialogue in the last scenes were so embarrassing to watch that’s it hard to believe someone actually sat down and wrote that. The character of Raki is the definition of walking cringe. One of the most annoying characters ever, just when I thought no body could top Misa Misa. He’s supposed to humanize our mc but all he could do is intensify anyone’s intrusive thoughts. I never wished for the death of a fictional character so much. Idc abut how he is in the manga but in the anime he could have not existed and everything would have been better. If we need to humanize the MC so much she could’ve taken care of a cat or sm.

It wasn’t unwatchable but it wasn’t great either. The acting wasn’t great, some expression are really stressed on yet other reactions are just underdone. I’m not sure if it got better with time or I just got used to it. The “night terror” scenes were really comical, especially considering it’s a “psychological thriller”. The ending was terribly ridiculous and not paved for. The whole show falls down to the plot line meaning nothing as all that mattered to the author apparently was coming up with something to be unexpected to end the story with it even if it makes no sense. I was mind blown by how lame the twist is. I’m surprised this show is not adapted from a wattpad story.
