Good family movie but not at all for anyone with wit or a sense of humor. Weak and slow acting and no strong characters, which is sad for Jack Black. Don't watch this if you want to be in the Xmas spirit, only I fyou need something you don't need to concentrate on.

I waited for so long to watch this but was so disappointed. The story is good and some of the graphics are brilliant, but the incessant Reynolds talking and the ego just marred the entire experience. These movies used to be clever and funny but now they are just cliche. A man trying to stay relevant in part 3 of something that they should have left at part 2. He made the movie shallow and something he just threw together with play acting, bullying everyone else into making him their leader.

Found it really shallow and can't see what the hype is. More depth and would be great, even though the characters are really cool. Just not grabbed me as I was expecting. Stopped half way.
