Now this a book I can get behind, from the character developments the and relationships that the characters had made me love this book so much. This was one of the books I had to read for English and one of the very few ones I've enjoyed. Amazing read, would recommend.

I and many others, have read this book for high school English. Short version, the book is boring. Long version, this book wasn't very interesting and had little to no real development. I had to constantly keep myself focused on the first few pages because I couldn't maintain my interest in it. Now this could be my short attention span but I've read books that have been able to maintain my focus for longer than just a few pages. Reading this book honestly made me hate the curriculum of my school and made me hate the assignments we had on it. This was a required read too, we couldn't enter the class without reading this book first. My teacher hated the book as well but still had to give it to us due to the school curriculum. Why are we giving students such uninteresting books that even the teachers hate? It honestly baffles me that it's still being a required read for many students.

I was forced to read this for my English honours class and after reading half of the book in one sitting, it isn't great. I've read boring books for school but never have I read a book this uninteresting. Giving it two stars is nice considering many things this book gets wrong. First of all, I have no problem with profanities, I also say them and use them in stuff that I write but when it's used so often, it just gets annoying, like the character just learnt that word and tries to use it as much as they can. I get that this book might not be for my demographic and isn't my type of genre, but I can read these books without having much bias about them. However, this book genuinely made me so bored that I needed to take a break from reading this for my own sake. I haven't read other books from the author and am in no way trying to bash how they write but with this book specifically, it just gave me an ick reading it.
