I loved every single element of this telenovela based series, but the ending, because I have said this before, and habe absolutely no shame or remorse in saying this again, that Jane and Michael deserves to be together. The only thing that most Jafaels see in Rafael is his extremely well built physique or his being Mateo's father, which I know is the only thing that tips the balance for Jane to choose him. But like very other Ja-chael, I know that Michael loved Jane with all his heart, and was even rest to accept someone else's kid, though it tool him sometime getting around to that, but he eventually did. And honestly I don't blame his temperament from earlier in the series either, because it is not in the normal course that your girlfriend is impregnated by someone else's kid. It should be noted that I am not blaming Jane or that she had an affair, and that's how it happened. But, we also can't overlook how Michael must have felt at that time. And as for Rafael, I believe that he is a toxic man throughout the series and his needing someone else's (which is mostly either Jane or Petra, and never Mateo or the twins) validation is the only thing that extenuates his going into a dark place. I mean even he deserves a good life, but his fragile disposition( which led him to lead a toxic relationship with both Jane and Petra) is not Jane's to fix. So for God's sake, that was the worst ending ever, considering the roller coaster of emotions the show had put us through, it is all the more befitting to say that the show could have done more justice to the ending.
