I don't know why rotten tomatoes and metacritic rate such awesome film so low. It is 2020 and still I love watching this film. Unlike commercial rip-off animation films, this movie is built on pure emotions, with juvenile lively characters. One can clearly see the effort been put into creating this fantasy. Many sequels indeed suck. But this one feels like a befitting sequel to its successor. Cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2 is a must watch.
