This show is honestly really good. It’s sad and it’s brutal but that’s part of what makes it so compelling.

This game is super fun, and it’s not a huge commitment to get in to. The campaign is pretty short and then it plays like an arcade game, where u play levels again and go for challenges and high score. It’s really hard at first but once you figure out how to deal with the different kind of enemies it gets a lot easier and more fun, cause the objective shifts from merely trying to stay alive to actually going for high score. The 4 guns are each effective for different kinds of enemies, and ALL the enemies come at you at the same time, so you have to switch weapons as you’re playing, taking out a threat here, dodging an attack there, doing tricks to reload the weapons, and there’s ways to get more powerful attacks in if u execute it properly. I tried to get in to it, I gave it about 10 hours. The shooting is kind of boring. The ship fights are pretty fun. The millions of planets to explore, its like too big to even really start digging in to it. The characters and the main story line are pretty cool, and some of the locations are beautiful. Maybe it will grow on me who knows.

If u haven’t played monster hunter before, as I had not when I got this game, it is really frustrating at first because of how horribly complicated it is. But stick with it because it’s really a fun game. The monsters are awesome, there’s so many different ways to fight, the characters are lovely. It’s fun.

This game is so cool! Zelda vibes obviously, but its not at all the same thing. It tells you NOTHING when u start playing. No intro, no tutorials, no information about the user interface, literally nothing. You just have to start putting pieces together. It’s mysterious, dark, beautiful, surprising and creative. And challenging. The fights are hard, which I like. There’s an easy mode, I haven’t tried it but they probably knew they would need one so people who don’t want it to be ruthless can catch a break. You can turn it on and off at any point. 6 out of 5 stars
