An absolute masterpiece. Jordan peel should take note, furthermore every horror director should. One of the best possession movies I have ever seen. The leading actress was absolutely incredible, she reminded me of a slightly older Rihanna, her acting was on point from start to finish but the whole cast was perfect!. The storyline of the movie played out perfectly, the pace was perfect, I found the possession scenes extremely unsettling, especially since I watched it on my own. Some of the most realistic possession scenes I have EVER seen in a horror movie, had me shook and to know it was a true story....wow an absolutely outstanding horror movie. Congratulations Lee Daniels 🙌🏼

It's basically a weaker modern day version or rather attempt at silence of the lambs. Just a few tweaks / differences in the storyline but they've defo taken alot from SOTL. It was just okay, boring for the most part. Nicholas Cages acting was phenomenal as always but overall the movie just wasn't that great, wouldn't watch it again.

Anybody who gives this movie negative feedback is absolutely delusional. This movie was incredible from start to finish, I was completely blown away!!! I have no idea what the critics were watching because it definitely wasn't this movie. Five star all the way, 10 out of 10, incredible.
