Thank God! (No Offense) Finally a show featuring women in lead roles not just one woman (I hesitate to say "token") surrounded by blokes. And they've all got the wit and repartee down pat (a little too fast for me at times, in fact.) Was heartily sick of watching blokes solve crime accompanied by a much younger side kick. (Who he often slept with anyway- yeah French detectives that's you I'm dissing here), while looking full of angst and nipping out to some high building to have a smoke coz, ya know, life's hard as a cop and I've got issues...(Now I'm talking to you Dublin Frigging Murders.) I love the cast, all the women, and the blokes too. Feels much more real than the American shows with the supermodel-cops swanning around. Love it! Paul Abbott is a legend!
