Great, fun, awesome and absolutely gorgeous throughout. This movie is one of the coolest scifi movies I've seen in a while. Didn't read the manga but I will now. It didn't lean completely on the visuals to care for the characters. Even the villains were cool to look at and you almost look forward to see what they can do. Didn't really care for the love interest part, BUT if you're going to tell the story of a young cyborg/alien girl then I get it. I read a review on this about she didn't look real... she's an ALIEN who got put into a machine to survive. Every now and then a movie comes out that makes you smile and you come out of the theater smiling. Last one was Mad Max: Fury Road. That is all.
