This 3 star rating is difficult for me because I really do love the cast and feel this show has a lot of potential. At the same time, the screen-writing is just. Not. Funny. If you are looking to get a laugh out of a show, stick to either Office, Trailer Park Boys, Parks and Rec, Arrested Development, or Curb Your Enthusiasm. For such a well produced show, some scenes are so cringe and low budget that it is hard to watch—and not hard to watch in a funny way like The Office. As a die hard Steve Carell fan, I honestly think the reviews star reviews on this page are sympathy votes. Don’t take my word for it, though. Watch the show and find out. There are definitely some laughs, just not what you are expecting. Quite underwhelming :(
