When I watched the "karnan" It reminds me of my thought of short film titled "maa oori bus" (My village's bus) which the story happened in early 90's in which the dalits deprived of bus service even it was passed through their colony and it's all how these people will acquired bus stop for them. Coming to karnan it is well nurtured oppressed and oppressor based story, by this film i became fan mari selvaraj, I used to see this type of Social-gritty reality movies from Vetrimaran, for karnan mari worked a lot, the way he turns the character arc of dhanush's and lal's was great and his directing style of show but don't tell (e.g:karnan cuts the rope b/w donkey's legs etc) and he showed how some of IAS and IPS adamant to troubles and struggles of lower caste people, for me karnan must watch movie
