i’m surprised, reading through the one star section about how people say that they kept doing the same thing throughout the year, “abusing animals”, and absolutely no character development 😂 i get that people have different opinions but i personally think that this sitcom portrayed a realistic problems and experiences families all around the world go through, with a twist of comedy. i get that not everyone can relate to that, but it is definitely not right to leave a very subjective (and often prejudiced) reviews about any work at all. so here is my objective review: this sitcom evolves around a big family with little to almost none economical issue, going through their lives, portrayed with comedy, sarcasm, and drama. the point or main idea (that i got) from this series, is that no matter what, family will always be there for you. before you watch: this can be triggering or emotional for audience with a traumatic family issues. it will be hard for mentioned audience to relate to their point of view through life. personally, i believe (and will not dismiss) that everyone’s level of sensitivity is different, but if you find yourself as a melancholia, sitcoms (or any stories at all) is really not recommended. bcs you will only find yourself in a very prejudiced subjective view of other’s work. personally, i love this sitcom, i can deeply relate and understand the part “why they kept doing the same mistakes all over again” because growing to become a better person takes a long progress, and this show points out that family will be with you no matter how hard and long the progress is. as of how some audience find this sitcom to have some offensive scenes and parts, i personally feels that sometimes people took a comedy or sarcasm a little too seriously, i too sometimes can get angry seeing sth inappropriate, but that’s why this show is categorized “comedy” or “drama” so that people can chill out and enjoy it without feeling so uptight and offended all the time 😊 i sincerely apologize if any of the comments i made is offensive/wrong 😊

For those who did not or cannot accept a cliché story, I have to warn you that this is quite a cliché story. Let's put aside all the cliché facts of this movie and discuss further about the value of the movie. Nicholas Sparks always brings love story alive. Not literally. I would feel emotional satisfaction whenever I finish reading or watch his movie. And we could all agree that The Notebook is very touching. Noah and Allie both are lovable character, though at a point unrealistic. But the true value of their story is that love is timeless. Their love is pure and sincere. It also taught us that it is the choices you make in life that determines you. Allie chose Noah knowing that everything in life would have no meaning when you don't have love. Not realistic, but nevertheless, a beautiful movie.
