It takes a certain kind of individual to appreciate this movie.
First of all, you need to be educated on the events related to the movie or you won't be able to appreciate it. Secondly, you need to have a certain amount of respect and awe for old school Hollywood and late 60s culture.
Tarantino did a phenomenal job portraying the Hollywood Scene in the late 60s. From the TV shows, radio stations, planes, cars, neon lights, to the backdrop and buildings are so accurately portrayed you feel like you just hopped out of a time machine. I've never seen such commitment to even the most trivial details The characters are absoutely loveable, endearing, and relatable.
The ending is completely unexpected and eternally gratifying. Leo kills it with emotional accuracy. Pit is now a legend in my eyes. The only problem with Margot Robbie's character is that she should've had more lines.
I couldn't take my eyes off the screen.
