0 storyline with mad race and most of it you cannot see. Because it takes place in the darkness of night in a planets terrain whose entire military force trying to kill the all 8 racers of the illegal underworld race. Military shoots missiles on racer vehicle, 0 impact!! These vehicles go over mine fields nothing happens either!! The hero spins like chopper blades everytime he boost speed but somehow never crashes or get derailed off the track and finishes the race sitting uncomfortably by sharing one seater car with another racer while handling million mile speed. Also the gambler wants the hero finish 2nd for no good reason. If the odd of winning is 25000 to 1 surely betting on winner gives him more money but he doesn't want that! Waste of time.

Cringy!! After hearing many good things about it, gave it a try. I'll rate its rival anime Haikyu-8/10, Slam Dunk-7/10, but this one, only a 2/10. No basketball game or strategy, it's just someone is tall, someone gets 3 pointers from other end of the court & never misses, someone can see behind their back or from above their head, of course when the main character needs to win, writer will open a plot to defeat those freaks & they are unable to use these super powers at that time. Talking about freaks, MC is a freak too. He has Batman's ability to vanish or appear in front of you & change direction of balls as he likes. He was a likeable character, but as more episodes went writer turned him into an useless waste of space & focused shifted mainly to make 2nd MC Kagami as good as 5 prodigies (aliens/mutant). The weirdest part is MCs coach. She is their classmate but has no basketball experience!! Not sure how does that work. The self proclaimed girlfriend of MC appeared to pity the MC on several occasions as did his opponents from several schools. None of Seirin high schools victory was satisfactory. Because it was not basketball it was Kurokos dragonball and it relied mainly on hocus pocus twists.

Creepy & pointless Anime. The 2 MC boys facial expressions were drawn as it is done for the "cute" girls in other animes. The voice actors were probably not sure if they do voice for male friends or male couples. Anyway as for the story, it's a non story. MC1 (Rekki) teaches 2nd MC2 (Langa/Snow) how to skate. MC2 goes on to skate against all the best skaters in a forbidden place that MC1 introduces to MC2. Forbidden place is run by a creep, that calls himself Adam. He had a bad upbringing & was programmed to be a political party leader in the future by his parents & aunts. Adams aim in life: if you are good at skating, be my Eve and then I will torture you! Thats the story!!! Of course it is an anime, so the MC will try to offer him friendships. In short, this anime is pointless, lackingng any serious purpose and just an exercise for a frustrated group of people to escape from their daily lives. The skate actions and animation qualities however in this anime are very good but be careful don't copy anything from the anime, it' is over the top & seriously dangerous.

The writer does a great job of making you believe a likeable side character who is not good enough to be even in the 3rd string team is the Main character. The anime is shown from the perspective of the side character Sawamura, who is given some token times to shine once in a blue moon here & there for the audience to stay engaged, but it gets so bad for him that, you will pity him. Contrary, it goes wonderfully well for every other characters. If you want to cheer for a likeable loser, go ahead and see everyone pity him if not don't watch. The "MC" will end up being the best pitcher, but the way it panned out it will be massive injustice to the actual MC Furuya (who is recognised as a prodigy in Japan). So it will feel even worse and more plot hole. Best thing the writer can do at this point is to give Sawamura a fresh start where he represents a new school. Lots of people praises AoD saying it's realistic. Oh please, it's Anime. anyone facing the "MC" having a flashback ends in defeating the MC. Not to mention, There are plenty of weird characters too.

Soft po*nography to depict excitement coming from how food tastes. Yes you guessed it, obviously objectified girls as much as possible. A lot of food information was wrong. The writer was on a mission to prove French food is the best in the world: strange that. Male MC is very likeable Female MC not so much but her cousin Alice and other female characters are cool.
