I loved this book so much. It was so poignant. I was excited to read it as I am a fan of Scotland, Outlander (the books and the series), Sam Heughan, and whisk(e)y! Husband and I went into the highlands for our honeymoon 10 years ago. While we did not take the same trail Sam went on, his journey brought back so many wonderful memories. The book was well-written even if he did repeat himself a couple of times. I felt like I was listening to a story while sitting next to him in a pub, or by a campfire. He segues beautifully between his journey as an actor and his journey on the trail. Highly recommend it!!
