It’s disheartening to see a show like “Badshah Begum” being declared unsuccessful by critics, viewers and even the team behind it. If there is any project on-air right now that has been almost pitch-perfect from start to now, it is “Badshah Begum.” Of course, it’s a matter of perception, but as far as solid writing goes, “Badshah Begum” has not put a toe out of line – with the exception of a flaw or two. One has to hope that while it may not be a success at present, “Badshah Begum” will go on to be remembered as a classic, because this is the stature it deserves.
