Sadly this production was very disappointing as I expected the lead Eliza Doolittle on last night’s show and ended up with a most dull lack lustre understudy.
The only thing preventing me from sleeping all the way through both the first and second half was the music.
It was a lovely set and only Freddy and Alfred and the dancers kept me from walking out.
Not good ENO!
