If you're a fan of the passed assassins creed games this maybe disappointing for you, was skeptical purchasing this at first but I bit the bullet. Valhalla continues Layla's modern day story with the DNA animus, so for free games now Layla's been somewhat of the main character like Desmond and we are introduced to Eivor the whole story just really revolves around him going to places killing people to make alliances.We are introduced to the Assassins,You know what the games are named after and they tell you about "The order" the more you kill the more "rewards" you get. its not exciting or really story driven until like you meet a certain someone and even then its back to repetitive missions You build your settlement,You raid,You do more "Story Arcs" .The graphics are what you aspect you can romance a ton of people but yeah like good ol ubisoft they save the best parts in terms of story wise to the end . Pros Long playtime Settlement building End Story Return of Shaun and Rebecca Flyting Cons Eivors playthough Killing "the order" are not the main goal Layla's Story Repetitive missions Overall glad i didn't spend £60 on it got it for like £30 of amazon and even then thats a push you may like the game you dont need to take my opinion by i think Odyssey was better (When playing as kassandra)
