Surprised Bill Nighy agreed to this. Lame Disney-esque story about city boy lost in the bush. Slapstick humour, weak characters, Bill was Bill despite terrible Aussie accent but the rest of the acting especially the mother & son were awful. If your kids are under 10 years old then an ok family movie

Brilliant…moody, cold, damp, miserable sets, tense, great acting, direction, cinematography… loved it

Lots of layers to the plot and well placed misdirection. Excellent acting across the cast. Difficult to watch Cumberbatch’s character’s life completely unravel but life isn’t all rosey. Can’t quite believe a certain Beetles tune didn’t make the soundtrack LOL

Took me back to some of the all time great westerns. Gritty and Tim Blake Nelson was mesmerising.

Very disjointed and hard to follow, very wooden acting, zero character development and too much close up full-frame camera shots that leave you with a headache.

Surreal, etheral, mind-bending cinematography. Character development not strong enough so overpowered by visuals. Plot a little predictable. Would’ve rated 3 but an extra star for the visual feast

Who on earth cast Jaylo as a gritty retired sniper … oh, let me guess, Jaylo. A bit of vacuous action fun but little more than an ego trip for Ms Lopez. If you can overlook this and manage your expectations then some decent action sequences if a little slapstick

1 star only because no option for zero stars. Unfathomable and disfinctional on many levels. BAD

Lost interest & bailed after about 20 minutes. Not often I give up especially with so many A-list cast members. American satire is very hit & miss, unfortunately this was a miss.
