I know this show is suppose to be entertaining, but sometimes it feels more like the chefs are showing off their skills rather than teaching the participants more practical, easy kitchen/cooking skills. Why do they have to make their own pasta or grind the meat themselves? Nobody who works all day and/or has a family has time for that. Teach them useful skills for simple meal preparations that they can build on. Also, the double entendre's are beginning to sound like a bunch of 12 year old boys (i.e., sausage jokes). It could be a smart show as well as fun.
