Judge Dee is an absolutely SHALLOW, SQUARE BOX. This is a very good show that illustrates why Western shows are better. They are able to show intelligence in humanity instead of following the law so blindly. Judge Dee killed 3 good people; 1 was the archer that was the actual hero and solved the puzzle, the second was the oor soldiers whom he did Not seek justice for and third he refuse to find ways to help his brother but took the easy way out for a girl whom he knows no harm will come upon her. The brother only held a wooden play sword and everyone still had to praise him. The law is not always right and thos show shows the stupidity of mankind that one is so rigid that compassion and empathy and a little more effort to take the lazy way out instead just shows how shallow Judge Fee is.

Zhou Xun is really a classy, good role model of how she carries herself/her role to show what a woman of class is. Everyone acted so well as well, this show was so good if only more dramas were like this casted with major stars like Zhou Xun and the male actor too and everything about it from the sets, clothes, is the kind of Chinese dramas that just don't come by often but should. So only this kind of dramas by Zhou Xun, Sun Li, Tang Wei, Zhang ZiYi, Gong Li, the main stars just created good dramas and do make it accessible please.
