I haven't watched the show but I've watched in depth reviews showcasing ALL of the things to not to do when making a compelling story. This comes of more as a parody that offensiviely pokes fun at stereotypes than a drama that questions the offensive stereotype. As it seems like with the director, he's so hard pressed that the show is exactly the show to "break the system" of television, it doesn't do the show much justice when it comes to making a meaningfull drama. The man is very mislead.
