Objectively, not subjectively, a bad game.
I've certainly played worse, but I suspect there's something at work inflating these reviews. Maybe people afraid to provoke a community infamous for toxic behavior, maybe marketing, "influencer"/streaming culture... not sure.
For all a person might enjoy about this game, it's still objectively not a stellar implementation of UI, not an ideal implementation of movement/camera, not a great implementation of combat, not great storytelling, not capitalizing on open world potential, and really not even very good roleplaying potential.
I wouldn't say it's a bad looking game, not weirdly ugly in the way Fallout or Elder Scrolls can usually be, but maybe the aesthetics approach a more legitimately subjective arena.
I can see why someone might offer it more stars than me, but I don't see the justification for such high praise. It's one of the most boring, least enjoyable, least rewarding games I've ever played.
