Anyone who gives this movie less than 3 stars for their review fail to understand "high nouveau comedy." This movie is pure genius when it comes to delivering a type of comedy that is more appreciated chewed than swallowed. In order to fully appreciate the style and rhythm of this comedy, one must watch and rewatch the movie to fully ingest the subtle nature and niche overtones of the line delivery from each character. For example, Fred's higher pitched voice to the student studying this type of comedy would simply come across as grating to the nerves and unsophisticated. However, once you are able to fully dissect many of the undertones of Fred's delivery you begin to appreciate the full expanse of delivery modes that Fred makes available to the audience -- to copy every micrometer of comedic relief and to fully cover all aspects of the delivery itself. This movie will take decades to fully understand and appreciate as there are so many spots where a full research paper would be needed to cover all of the delicate undertones of delivery. Meanwhile, please watch the movie with an open mind and after several hundred viewings, you will begin to fully appreciate and understand the more delicate undertones in the movie and how those undertones are delivered via perfection from Fred's character.
