Not my favorite of 2d metroids but sufficient and provided many fun moments. I beat the game through Normal and completed the Boss Rush mode. My gripes are- a. The story is confusing as heck (lost interest in fact) b. The EMMIs are annoying. I think the parry window should have been loosened up a bit but do appreciate the timing of the grabs & stab were random. C. The shinespark puzzles are annoyingly hard. I only have the Switch lite and it seems people are able to pull it off with real controllers. I gave up going back to attempt 100% collect. D . I feel like power ups were barely used in the last third of progression e. I wished u could teleport any location previously uncovered than going through each world in succession.
