At first, I chose this movie because I wanted to see how story of American Asians is like. The journey of finding my mother culture is interesting. But ultimately, I feel disappointed. What I saw for 1h30min were embarrassing dialogue, lame story with stereotypes stereotypes and stereotypes. I have no idea what values this movie wants to convey. Some good jokes though so it’s at least nice to see that. But I would say don’t waste your time and money on this movie. Spoiler alert!!! It’s ridiculous that you are able to get on a train without having your bags checked by the security in China. I mean the bag is obviously filled with pills? Obviously. And second most ridiculous thing, you could even pass the police, just got kicked out instead of being in jail. That’s impossible. You will at least be sent to the nearby police station.
