This movie has unnecessary theatrics and weak plot line. The powerlessness of US defence system against attack on the white house, lack of media control and a father daughter relationship forcibly pushed into the plot..can really frustrate you if you are using your intellects to watch this movie.No character's action can be justified. The enemy are divided among themselves and are motivated by varied interests, but some how this small group manages to take control of the white house with almost next to nothing defence. The governing system that is left has no clear leadership...This movie can be mildly entertaining if you look past some of the devastating loopholes..

I keep wondering how do writers not see as we sensible humans see things. A complete waste of a great concept. The characters development and grasp of the situation is hilarious. The characters reaction to when they find themselves in a bizzare situation is laughable, like it's a normal everyday occurrence for them. Like the character asking what year it is to the future man...how will that help your situation...like Jackie's character..being the most vulnerable since she is hurt..is least bothered by the developments happening around her. Like when Furby is brought back to life in the end in a alien ship..and he cares about his love interest.There are so many instances which makes you cringe and laugh at the same time. Watch it if you Really Really bored..and don't mind leaving your logical mind behind.
