To compare this movie to Gatsby is an insult. None of the characters are relatable or likeable in any way. It was visually interesting and captivating, but to what point? The point of a great film is to make the viewer feel an emotion. The shock value was lost on me. Pointless. Beautifully wrought, but empty.

Some great acting, but doesn't place any of the characters in a positive light. I would've preferred to watch a melodramatic lifetime depiction. Waste of a viewer's time.
